Hadi Ahmadi is currently working as Associate Professor in Plant Breeding at the Faculty of Agriculture, Lorestan University. He received the B.S. degree in Agronomy and Plant Breeding at Chamran University in Iran in 1985, M.S. degree in Plant Breeding at Tarbiat Modares Tehran in 1991, and Ph.D. in Plant Genetics at University Of Newcastel Upon Tyne in England in 2001.
His current research program focuses on Wheat genetics and improvement, with specific interests in disease resistance, especially the rusts. He has more than fifty of publications in national and international journals.
